Ugh. Cant start app. Get cant connect message.

I sprung for the gps feature for the Apple Watch support and it was miserable. Thought I was on the fifth hole on the first and no way to correct it. Will not renew that! Everything else is manual which is a pain - I was thinking it would help keep score but nothing beats the pencil and scorecard alas :-(

Add the ability to see a list of all golfers from my clubs sorted by handicap. Hitting load more 20 times is not great. Then when you sort it take you back to only seeing a handful.

Why have putting numbers been removed?

App keeps crashing after the update

After last update, app crashes or logs me out and I cannot get back in. Even removing app and restoring 3 times. Now can’t log in at all.

Password managers need to be able to paste into the password field.

Update: the update has helped and it works like its supposed to again although it is draining my battery more than in the past. Since the update last week the app keeps crashing. I get logged in and then it closes and I have to keep reloading. Deleted and reinstalled and still keeps happening. Worked fine until Friday after the newest update. I contacted USGA and they are working on it. Hopefully will be a quick fix. I use this app all the time and usually works great.

Was great. Now unusable. Crashes constantly. Not sure if something happened last update but it just keeps closing. Tried support but no response. Well. Looks like they addressed the issue. Back to being great again. Back to 5 stars

Website & iPhone app only provide a blank page when you try to contact support. Can’t resolve sync issue between iPhone & Apple Watch.

I have been using this app for the last 4 months with no problems until last week. Now it reset back to Home Screen every few minutes. It will let me input my score after a round but can not use it during a round for yardages.

The app will open and then shut down during the hole . Have to restart app and hit finish round several times during round

The app, after the update, will not stay open using the GPS in the app and then posting your score as you go. My app shuts/closes down. The app works great prior to this glitch.

App is trash

When starting a golf round on iPhone, once the course uploads, and the watch recognizes this round, the iPhone is responsive to change in location, and therefore distance measurement. However, the Apple Watch remain stuck on 1st tee distance from the chosen tee box and does not change/not dynamic. You have to then exit out of the round on the phone and reload before it is functional. Ugh.

This has been a great app for years, but now it shuts down and closes on its own during a round.

For the last 2 months I haven’t been able to login or rest a password. It’s getting quite annoying at this point. I need it for tournaments to be accurate but as long as the gazillion “reset emails” I click will keep bringing me straight back to the login page again. There’s not much I can f’n do 👎🏼👎🏼 through support I got it working but cmon guys. Fix the app.

So there was an update yesterday 3/27/25, I used my app today and all it did was keep closing out after I tried to enter my score and stats 😡. I thought maybe there was an update, that’s when I found out the update came thru the previous day. So then I thought I’ll restart my phone, which I did several times. Still no luck 😡 It keeps shutting down and taking me all the way out of the app each time I try to enter my score/stats. The only way the app will stay open is if I selected play hole by hole with no stats, so GPS only. Your update caused more bugs!! Better take a look

The score entry part of this app is five star. The GPS functionality should not be extra money to use on the Apple watch which is nothing more than an extension of the phone. Bottom line is it spams you to upgrade and it’s a drawback and a distraction while playing instead of an aid so I don’t use it

I just upgraded to get full view of course Disappointed so far as it doesn’t seem to match to my Apple Watch with correct yardage. Also you need to manually move the app to next hole and also don’t want the app to keep score but it seems you don’t have that option. Will be canceling full version

Puts me on my game

Always wanted to play in a USGA Event. It has always gave me vibes and looked like a PGA Tour Tournament level of Pureness. I have been few shots shy b4. 2025 Goals ➡️ I will Qualify for a USGA Amateur Sanctioned Event sooner than later.

The usga should remove the ability for golfers to enter their own scores. The sandbaggers are ruining the game. Please help. I’m tired of scratch golfers playing in flights with the honest 10 hdcp players.

Update: since updating to the latest app version the iWatch and iPhone now work well together as intended. The team addressed the issues and fix the problem in a very timely fashion. One cannot ask for more than that. Thank You!! The app has been working well up until yesterday when I updated my iPhone IOS to 18.2 and the watch app to 11.2. Now the app on the iPhone works well but when trying to connect the iwatch it just says searching and to start round on iPhone. A problem we had in the past. The app probably needs an update to sync with the iPhone and watch app using the latest IOS updates

The app constantly closes on my phone when using the GPS functionality. Has potential but the constant closing of the app is a definite no go. I only use it when on the typical occasion I forget my Arccos link., but if I were using it weekly for GPS I would look elsewhere.

12.20.24 Update. The iOS 18.2 and Apple Watch 11.2 issue has been resolved. Quick response from the developers. Thank you. 12.14.24 Update: The iOS 18.2 and Watch 11.2 updates have broken the link between the GHIN iPhone and Apple Watch app. The phone app works fine. The Watch app ties to connect and then crashes. This is a step backward. The most recent release is significantly improved. It is stable and works very well with an Apple Watch. The GPS is fast and accurate. The green maps - heat maps and putt views are easy to use. Overall the app is much improved over the past few months. An area for enhancement would be to provide customized stat graphics similar to other apps such as Hole 19 or 18 Birdies. The app keeps getting better. Well done.

Absolutely ridiculous that during the off season this app won’t even let you use it to keep score and round statistics. Please change so we can at least use during off season. App is useless 4 months a year. I use Grint now instead, they let you keep score and more detailed stats year round, and just don’t use off-season rounds when computing handicap.

High Hcp trying to lower it. I track stats, count putts, look for areas to improve, and the app is good for all of that. Also love using my watch on the course. Distances are reliable. Greens on the phone are great. My main beef is this: it will not let me keep score on courses outside their posting windows. I used a free app that let me keep scores that it did not include in my handicap. What gives? I shot my second best score in December this year; my best on New Years Day a few back. I’d like to have the data even if it doesn’t figure in. And when I use it those times without score the app will NOT close on my phone because there is no round to end. Please fix those and I will be your biggest fan!!!

It’s a really good app and I like it a lot except during the winter when I can’t post my score I can’t use the app! So it’s not really an annual app for me. I should be able to count my score with some warning that it won’t post since it’s out of the season.

Constantly loses track of my scores by hole and won’t let me correct them. I would not use this app if it were free!

Would love to see the entire scorecard on the view scorecard after posting scores. Mainly so I could screen shot to share with others. Right now you need to scroll to the side to view all 18 holes. Edit- found share scorecard option. Looks great.

Ability to zoom in on the green view would help read the map better!

Posted last couple rounds in August and September 2024, no matter the score it shows I hit GIR stat (I post hole by hole with stats as often as possible). Not a big deal but I like to keep stats so hopefully you can fix it. Also each hole defaults to bogey score when posting now as hole by hole. Again not a big deal but annoying to keep changing score when posting. Thanks!

I loved this app initially but now the yardage to areas in the fairway are not available. Very disappointed that the monthly fee is so high.

This app stinks. It's constantly shutting down and when you reopen it the scores you've entered are gone.

Used the new version today with Apple Watch and it didn’t crash once. Do we dare to hope it finally works?! If so, its exactly what I want. Front, middle, back and not a bunch of stats.

“Invalid Request “

For the last 2 seasons I used the app as a scorecard, posting hole by hole while playing… enter hole scores 3 at a time then save, then hit post & finish round, enter the next 3 holes & repeat this process until finished. For the last couple months when I try to do this the app frequently loses the saved hole by hole scores. I have also had a number of cases where I set up an 18 hole round, complete the first 9 holes, hit post & finish round to enter back 9 holes only to have the app re-open the round as a 9 hole round with no ability to enter back 9 hole by hole. Something broke! I like the app but these 2 problems have greatly diminished its utility.

Had the app for a couple of years and it mostly worked fine. The app would occasionally shut down during use but upon restart you could pick up where you left off and the scores for holes you played would be retained. In the past 6 months something has changed. When the app restarts all your scores are gone and it only shows the first 9 holes. So basically you have to record on a paper card while using the app. Kind of defeats the purpose of electronic scoring. When I tried to get help via their email I get no response. So I can’t recommend paying for this app which is kind of a shame because when it works it has some nice features.

Please default score entry at par please - makes no sense starting at bogey

The app continues to improve and I use the stats function often. I would like to see the following changes, upgrades. 1) change the colors for the stats. It doesn’t have to be a some kind of shade of green. Try a different color. 2) that doesn’t seem to be a way to select a penalty stroke. 3. When reviewing stats after a round, the data in the screen needs to be recalibrated so that you can clearly see the stats for fairway accuracy.

I’ve used the app for several years just fine and after the last update it doesn’t save the score on a hole when I advance forward. For example, on our #1 hole, Par 5, it starts me off at 6, when I change it to 5 and advance, when I go back, it’s back to 6.

This app DOES drain your battery. One issue is it doesn’t auto advance even after working through the settings. The biggest issue is the junk you have to endure on stats and hole by hole score. You can’t just get distances.

UPDATE: Both issues were fixed in the latest update! I changed my rating from 3 to 5 stars. Please allow for disabling turning the grown to switch holes. My glove turns the crown, so I’m always on the wrong hole. Also, the app keeps closing, even if I set Return to Clock to 1 hour. I need to reopen the app on the phone and hope it syncs with the phone app, which is still tracking a round. Find out how the other golf GPS apps make it work.

I loved this app the last two summers. It worked so well with my watch. This year, I’m lucky to even get it to connect to my watch. When I actually do get them connected, it will disconnect almost every hole and if it’s still connected, it will not show distance from the hole, only the score input screen for that hole will show up on my watch. I want my money back!! I will not renew next year if this does not get fixed. Other than that really big problem, I love the app. It’s easy to use and a nice looking app. Please fix this!! The constantly closes down during a round while keeping score and stats. The problem is not with my iPhone. There is no tech support contact, you have to message your state USGA org and they have no way to help. When it worked it was a nice simple app. It has been broken for a month or two. I play a lot of rounds and dealing with this is a major pain. Not recommended.

I purchased the GHIN Enhanced GPS app and my Apple Watch crashed with each use. I really wanted this subscription to work so I tried several attempts. After rebooting app several times with no success, I requested refund from GHIN. Note to self: You must request refund from Apple. I should have requested a refund immediately rather than try to get the app to work. Apple refunded me only a partial payment due to time difference from initial purchase — don’t wait! Request refund immediately with Apple, the GHIN enhanced app doesn’t work with Apple Watch.

The upgrade to enhanced gps does not work!!!

Great upgrade to enhance Apple Watch functionality!! Now it doesn’t work at all and won’t even install on the Apple Watch. Tech requests have repeatedly gone unanswered. Why do these developers have to continue to tinker, often making things worse? If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!! Go back to the previous version. Very frustrating.
